The Agri Environmental Climate Scheme (AECS) is the main source of funding for agri-environmental and biodiversity measures in Scotland. Through the Scottish Government, it provides 5 year funding for management and capital items

We strongly encourage our clients to take part in the scheme, though the application process is complicated there are significant benefits in accessing the scheme.

Our approach is in two parts:

  • An initial no cost assessment of your farm by our consultants from which we will develop a potential scheme and also give a guide to the likelihood of the scheme being successful
  • If agreed, an application to the AECS scheme for the year in question.
