Ian has over 18 years consultancy experience with Laurence Gould, having previously managed a large arable farming unit in North East Scotland. He has a range of farm management clients across all sectors of the industry in Scotland and the North of England.

Ian undertakes a number of planning reviews and insurance claim work. He is also heavily involved in entitlement trading and carbon auditing.

He is accredited to provide advice to farmers under the Farm Advisory Service (FAS) funded Integrated Land Management Plan and has successfully obtained grant funding for farmers and agri businesses under SRDP and AECS. Ian provides advice to fruit and vegetable grower co-operatives in structure, governance, operation and investment planning together with sourcing project funding and finance via a range of grant schemes for food processing businesses.
